Last ride in Monterey

Just a short ride out to Pebble Beach and back. The photos are shot from Lover's Point in Pacific Grove.

There are a few highlights of living in Monterey, CA from a cyclist's perspective (no particular order):

  • The climbs of Jack's Peak, Aguajito Road, and Laurels Grade
  • Enthusiasm of local shops
  • the bike path from PG to Marina
  • Fixie/SS rides with JC Stroh
  • La Mesa fire trails
  • Central Coast Cyclocross
  • the Sea Otter Classic
  • the NPS cycling Team
  • sandy rides at Fort Ord
  • Devian at Asanacycles and his continuing saga of the bicycling lifestyle
  • All of the great listings on Craigslist

I'll miss it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, get out and RIDE THE NEW BIKE

Hoping that you and yours will spin thousands of miles on your bikes this year.

Now that gas prices have dropped to record lows, don't hang your bicycle upside down in the garage and forget about it.

Santa knows when you are naughty!
